SLOBA Care is an initiative of the St Laurence’s College Old Boys’ Association which attempts to assist families or staff within the St Laurence’s College Past Students’ community who may be experiencing hard times or long term difficulties such as illness.
Each member of the College community embarks on their own Laurie’s Journey . During this time, a fraternity of mateship and friendship is established and nurtured. SLOBA Care is a way to extend this past the classroom.
Just as the Old Boys’ Association aims to provide ongoing fellowship and support to students, staff and members of the Association, SLOBA Care seeks to extend these aims by providing a tangible means whereby former students (including parents of Old Boys and former staff) in need can reach out for assistance.
If you feel you need assistance or know of a fellow Old Boy or former teacher in need, please reach out to the SLOBA Care Team. To ensure the best of care, we have linked in with Mater at Home to be our primary point of referral. Mater at Home aims to optimise the health, independence and well-being of the community Mater serves, by delivering high-quality evidence-based practice.
